Vision and mission
Under the concept of resource sharing, to promote the sharing of valuable instruments, this Instruments Center of CCU (IC-CCU) was founded in December 1989. It received grants from the National Science Council and became one of the nine Instrument Centers of our country. We effectively integrated management and maintenance of our instruments to provide the highest efficiency and services. This Center comprising 11 instruments owns the strengths of the campus and oversees the full-strength use including consulting services. We routinely upgrade our instruments for the best servives for academic and industry researches in the Chia-yi and Yunlin area, as well as nationwide.
IC-CCU funded by the ministry of science and technology (MOST Taiwan) commits to the promotion of domestic research projects of both PIs in universities and industry. We have strong infrastructure for consulting, instrument maintenance and services.
Future development and goals
- IC-CCU will strengthen the promotion of industry services. We ambarked organizing two workshops annually in chemical analysis and material structural characterizations;
- IC-CCU will participate and expand the to the relevant enterprises in Chiayi and Yunlin area;
- IC-CCU will strengthen the quality of service, including the evaluation of the electrical system in your center, keep having frequent contact with our graduates.
